Is it safe to enter my card number with Bagsdefined?

You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. All of our credit card information is stored on a secure, dedicated database.

Your Security and Privacy

Bagsdefined.co.uk knows that you care how information about you is used and shared.

If you received a suspicious e-mail that appears to be from Bagsdefined.co.uk, read our page about how to identify spoofed e-mails. This page includes instructions on how to report these e-mails to us. Our tips for safe shopping page also includes a lot of information about account security and protecting your personal information.

Please know that Bagsdefined.co.uk is not in the business of selling customer information. Many spammers and spoofers use programs that randomly generate e-mail addresses, in the hope that some percentage of these randomly-generated addresses will actually exist. You can find out more about how your personal information is protected in our Privacy Notice.

Safety and Security Tips

Bagsdefined.co.uk is concerned about the safety and security of our customers. Accordingly, we have put a number of technological protections in place to ensure that our transaction process is extremely safe and that our customers' information is secure.

Bagsdefined.co.uk has developed the following suggestions to help ensure that your online shopping experience is safe and secure.

Safety and Security Tips

Protect your passwords.

  • If using a public computer or terminal, always log out when you complete an online session.
  • Keep your passwords private. Remember, anybody who knows your password may access your account.
  • When creating a password, use at least 8 characters -- a combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, e-mail address, or other personal information that can be easily obtained. It is also recommended that you frequently change your password. If you need assistance with this, visit our Changing Your Password Help page.
  • Avoid using the same password for multiple online accounts.

Be wary of unsolicited e-mail and telephone contacts.

  • Bagsdefined.co.uk will never e-mail or call a customer and ask that they disclose or verify their Bagsdefined.co.uk password, credit card, or banking account number. Such information should only be submitted when completing an order on Bagsdefined.co.uk, contacting Bagsdefined.co.uk directly, or when making updates to My Account. If you receive a suspicious e-mail with a link to update your account information, do not click on the link--instead go directly to Bagsdefined.co.uk and then to your account. You can find out more about How to Identify Phishing or Spoofed E-mails from our Help page.
  • If you are contacted by, or receive an unsolicited e-mail from an unknown entity, and are asked to confirm or provide your password or personal or banking information, disregard the request and follow our guidelines for handling phishing and spoofed e-mails.
Which credit cards can I use?

Bagsdefined.co.uk accepts the following cards:

  • Visa
  • Delta
  • Visa Electron
  • MasterCard/EuroCard

Is it safe to enter my card number online?

You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. All of our credit card information is stored on a secure, dedicated database.

Why did my credit card authorisation fail?

It is not uncommon for a request for credit card authorisation to fail once or twice before the card is finally authorised. We will send you an e-mail if we experience difficulties in authorising your credit card.

You are always welcome to submit new credit card information to us for a particular order, provided that the order has not yet entered the dispatch process. To do this, visit My Account and select the link to "Edit credit card".
